Cartridge Roller for Bar Code Marking
Mod. CGM
The cartridge rolling machine mod. CGM makes possible to rotate the cartridges for printing bar codes or other informations.
This machine makes possible to print a bar code (such as set out by recent regulations) or various information in a predetermined fixed position, always the same for all cartridges.
The cartridge roller mod. CGM puts in rotation the empty cartridge to find the marking area and moves the print head horizontally, thereby printing over the entire length of the cartridge.
The sensor can read both the cartridge color variations and a specific reference mark in the graphic print of the cartridge itself.
After reading the reference, the cartridge will rotate to stop exactly in correspondence of the printing area and the electrical axis will move the marking head at a synchronized speed, thereby enabling the printing of the bar code (and any other information) along the cartridge with a character height such as to ensure the correct reading also by optical readers.
The printer may possibly be chosen and purchased directly by the customer.
The cartridges can be printed off-line in the desired quantity that can be set via the PLC.
The rotation the empty cartridge makes it possible to avoid the inertia of the full weight.
- Compact machine on wheels for easier handling.
- Hopper on the ground for easy loading of about 300 empty cartridges.
- Loader of horizontal empty cartridges to the point where the cartridge is put into rotation.
- Ejection into the hopper of possible badly oriented cartridges.
- Device for the rotation of the horizontal empty cartridge.
- Programming and sensor to locate the empty space in the cartridge in which to carry out the marking/printing and then stop the rotation.
- Electric axis with horizontal movement to move the marking head along the entire length of the cartridge.
- Electric axis with housing for marking/printing head with size up to 50 x 60 mm (square section) or 50 mm in diameter (round section).
- Programming to synchronize the axis travel speed with the printing speed.
- Support for the control unit of the ink-jet or laser marking/printing machine.
- Ramp/slide for ejecting the marked cartridges.
- Human intervention is only required to neatly store the cartridges in the carton once marked/printed.
However, it is not necessary if you include our semi-automatic cartoning machine mod. INSC140 or the totally automatic mod. IA140. In this case, the cartridges will be boxed in line automatically and neatly inside the 140 piece cartons.
